Junior Cricket

The club runs a successful Junior programme with an established pathway into Adult and Representative cricket. Most Saturday XI, and Sunday XI captains are ECB Qualified Coaches!
In 2017 teams will be in competing in the Herts Junior League at U9, U10, U11, U12 , U14 (x 2), U15 & U17. All coaching is by ECB qualified coaches who are trained and have been screened for their suitability for working with young people.
Bushey CC endorses the ECB's Safe Hands Policy, and has an elected Child Welfare Officer on the main committee.

Welcome to Bushey Cricket Club. We would like to thank you for stopping by and looking at our web page. This is your information portal to one of Hertfordshire's oldest clubs. In 2014 the club celebrated its 150th Anniversary. 
We are a family-orientated, and sociable club which is always on constant search for new Junior and Senior players to represent the club. For the 2016 season Bushey will field Four XI's in the Saracens Hertfordshire Cricket League. A sunday XI in the Chess Valley League including a Development XI for our talented Juniors.

The club has achieved ECB Club Mark Accreditation, which is awarded to cricket clubs by the England and Wales Cricket Board where the cricket club is able to demonstrate that it meets the ECB Clubmark criteria as across four areas:

  • The Cricket Programme the club offers
  • Sports Equity and Ethics
  • Club Management

ECB Clubmark is an acknowledgement that we take these issues seriously and that we are striving to provide a high quality and welcoming environment for young participants in cricket.
